PiE mourns the loss of PiE School Chair Ana-Maria Dias, who was killed along with her husband and their two daughters on July 22 in an automobile accident in Canada.

 

Ana-Maria was an extraordinary and dedicated PiE Chair at JLS Middle School. Her enthusiasm, positive attitude, and warm, caring personality will be intensely missed by all who knew her at PiE, and in the greater Palo Alto community.

 

During this difficult time, we offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ana-Maria, her husband, Robert Howard, and daughters Sam and Nica.
