Our Programs
Juana Briones Elementary School

 

 

During the 2011-2012 school year, generous donations from parents and community members have allowed PiE to provide Juana Briones with $136,953 for use on campus. These funds helps every student by:

- Helping to fund the general classroom aides who work with kids in every classroom for at least 8 hours per week (PiE pays for more than half of this time)

- Paying for Karen Kessler to provide an enhanced science program for all grades, including intensive use of the science lab, regular classroom sessions, program outreach, and materials and teacher mentoring. (PiE pays for 100% of Karen's salary.
