Our Programs
Hoover Elementary School

 

 

For the 2011-2012 school year, generous support from parents and community members have allowed PiE to provide $137,283 for use at Hoover, which is spent:

 

- To pay for Spectra art lessons weekly for every classroom

- To fund 100% of the Instructional Assistants for Science, to ensure that every child has the opportunity for hands-on science exploration

- To pay for 100% of the Instructional Assistants in reading and math (two in each) who work with every classroom weekly to enhance instruction and enable small group work

 

“At Hoover, PiE only funds people. Without the people, we could not have the programs. PiE dollars have helped us preserve the programs for science, reading, math and art. Study of the arts helps create the well-rounded child, and PiE funds pay for every child on this campus to receive art instruction every week.”
