Board of Directors

 

Vice President for Finance & Administration: Xenia Hammer

 

Xenia has been an active volunteer with Palo Alto Schools over the last decade. At Duveneck, she served as PTA Treasurer and on Site Council, ran eScrip and volunteered in the classroom. She served as Secretary of Palo Alto High School PTSA and is currently serving as PTAC representative. Xenia worked on the 2006 PiE Benchmarking Study, comparing PAUSD to other top public school districts in the country. Last year, Xenia served as Jordan Middle School parent representative on the Mathematics Adoption Committee which recommended new middle school math textbooks. In 2010, Xenia received the California PTA Honorary Service Award.

 

Xenia holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Yale University and an MBA from Stanford University. She was a management consultant with Booz Allen and Hamilton and with R.B. Webber & Company specializing in marketing and strategy for high tech companies.

 

Xenia and her husband Gary have 3 children - a 12th grader and a 9th grader at Paly, and a 6th grader at Castilleja.
