Board of Directors

 

Director – Development-Community: Sigrid Pinsky

 

Professionally, Sigrid Pinsky has sixteen years of experience in law firm administration, including Acting Director of Administration and, most recently, Director of Office Operations. In that position she was responsible for all facets of staff management for twelve departments (salary administration, HR management, policy development and budget preparation/administration.)

 

Sigrid's volunteer activities include service on the boards of many nonprofit organizations, including past Board Chair of the League of Women Voters of Palo Alto, past Board President of the Family School in San Francisco , past President of Greenmeadow Community Association, past Chair of Friends of PreSchool Family, and past Board Chair of Palo Alto Community Child Care (PACCC.) She has served on the Board and Advisory Council of Adolescent Counseling Services, chaired the ACS fundraiser Spring Sounds for several years and has chaired their Annual Campaign and the Major Donor Campaign. Sigrid is a member of the Board of the Palo Alto Library Foundation. She is also past PTA President at Fairmeadow Elementary School and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Gunn High School PTSA.

 

Sigrid graduated with a BA in Philosophy from Sweet Briar College . She and her husband Jim have two children at Fairmeadow and one at Gunn High School.
