About Us
Director – Development-Schools: Sarah Sands
Sarah Sands has been an active volunteer for PAUSD schools since she moved to Palo Alto with her family in 2003. Volunteer activities include 6 years as PiE Chair at Duveneck and 5 years as Leader/Co-leader of PiE Chairs on the Direct Appeal Team including elementary and secondary schools. Sarah has been very involved at Duveneck Elementary School in many roles including parent representative on School Site Council. Sarah holds a BS in Economics from UC Davis and an MBA from Stanford University. Sarah was a Management Consultant at Bain & Co and a Special Assistant to the CEO at Gap Inc. Sarah has four children, two attend Duveneck School, a daughter at Castilleja and a preschooler.
