Advisory Council

Laura Breyfogle

For the past 23 years Laura Breyfogle has worked as a fundraiser at Stanford University. Currently she is Senior Associate Dean for External Relations for the Engineering School, where she manages fundraising, communications and alumni relations.  Her experience encompasses transformational gifts, individual and corporate gifts, as well as direct appeal and marketing programs.  Prior to joining Stanford, Laura worked for a variety of performing arts organizations.

 

Since the inception of ASF and PiE, Laura has served as an ad hoc advisor on fundraising strategy and organization.  In partnership with Chuck Sizemore, she helped design and implement an early donor feasibility study that documented community support and capacity for a coordinated district-wide fundraising effort.

 

Laura earned her AB in English Literature from Carleton College and her MBA from UCLA.  She has two daughters at Jordan Middle School.
