Board of Directors

 

Director – Development-Schools: Elizabeth Olson

 

Elizabeth Olson has been active as a community volunteer for over twenty years, with experience ranging from the Peace Corps to the public schools of New York City, and in the Bay Area at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). She enjoys helping with reading and writing in her children’s classrooms at Escondido Elementary, where she also co-chairs the PTA fundraising effort and other school-wide events.

 

Before moving to Palo Alto in 1999, Elizabeth worked as an international economist and portfolio manager in New York and Latin America. She has degrees from Franklin and Marshall College and Columbia University. Elizabeth has a son and a daughter in the Spanish Immersion program at Escondido, and a daughter in preschool.
