Board of Directors

 

President: Elaine Hahn

 

Elaine Hahn has been active in Palo Alto schools for over 16 years. She served on the PTA in several capacities at Addison Elementary School, including PTA co-President.

 

She also worked as a precinct captain for Measure D, the 2001 bond measure for PAUSD schools. Elaine was a founding member of All Schools Fund, a non-profit formed to raise funds for staffing needs in PAUSD schools. Elaine also served on the board of Palo Alto Foundation for Education and as Executive Vice President of Palo Alto Council of PTAs. She served as a Partners in Education school representative at Jordan Middle School and more recently at Palo Alto High School and as a Paly PTSA Executive Board member from 2007-2009.

 

Elaine joined the PiE Board in September 2008. She is also co-Volunteer Coordinator for the Palo Alto Senior High School College and Career Center, and is a founding member of a newly-formed parent group at her younger son’s non-public school.

 

Elaine holds a J.D. degree from University of California- Hastings College of the Law. Prior to beginning her work as a community volunteer, she worked for several years as a corporate attorney at a major west coast law firm. Elaine and her husband, Eric, have one son at Palo Alto High School and a younger son at a local non-public school.
