Mission
PiE is committed to educational excellence for every student in the Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD). We work in partnership with parents, PAUSD, and the community to raise funds for an education beyond what is possible with public dollars -- strengthening our students' K-12 experience by supporting staff and innovative projects.
Vision
We believe that a prosperous society has its roots in a strong, well-funded school system. PiE is a unifying force, bringing together educators, parents, students, and members of the community in supporting our public schools. Not only will PiE continue its primary mission of sustaining vital staff and school projects, but we pledge to be innovative in our fundraising strategies and open to ideas from our entire community. We look to our diverse and talented corps of volunteers to help us achieve excellence and equity in education across our school district. Consistently well-funded schools prepare generations of graduates to meet the challenges and opportunities of our world.
Values
- Partnership – we join forces with parents, the school district, PTAs, boosters, principals, teachers, students, businesses and the extended community to make PAUSD schools the best they can be.
