Assistant Treasurer and Director – Finance & Administration: Diane Downend

 

Diane is finance professional whose career began at Deloitte & Touche where her clients were concentrated in the real estate industry.   After leaving public accounting, Diane has served as chief financial officer in a variety of privately-held companies with real estate as the common theme.  Diane is currently a principal and CFO for Edenbridge Homes, a regional homebuilder. 

 

For over twenty years, Diane has served on the board of directors for Mid-Peninsula Housing Corporation, a non-profit provider of affordable housing, in roles including board chair, treasurer, secretary, and chair of the audit committee. 

 

Over the past decade, Diane has worn many hats for Palo Alto PTAs.  For the Palo Alto Council of PTAs she has served as treasurer and auditor.  She is a former treasurer for the Terman Middle School PTA and a past president, EVP and treasurer for the Gunn High School PTSA.  Diane has three teens at Gunn High School.  She is a Bay Area native who attended UC Berkeley where she received a BS and MBA.
