Director – Marketing & Communication: Andrea Cook Fleming

 

Andrea Cook Fleming is Director of Communications for PiE.  Previously, she served for two terms as PTA president at Escondido elementary where her children are in the Spanish Immersion program.  Prior to the PTA, Andrea served for three years as vice president and board member of her neighborhood association in College Terrace, Palo Alto.  She is currently raising her two young children while also consulting, packing world-famous gourmet lunches in reusable containers and attending a night school Spanish class in order to help her bi-lingual kids with their homework.

 

Andrea is also a veteran marketing communications executive with more than 20 years of experience in the consumer goods and technology industries. She was vice president of marketing communications at Hewlett-Packard, Good Technology, and Liquid Audio. She also held senior public relations roles at Netscape Communications, Microsoft and Burson-Marsteller PR.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Stanford University in 1988.
